Favorite Website Layout

I visit the ESPN homepage about 10 times a day so it’s something I’m very familiar with. I’ve always really liked the layout because it’s so easy to navigate. The tabs for all the major sports pages and city pages are on the top, right below the scoreboard. The hierarchy for that is on par, because the scores are usually the first thing people who watch sports look for. Underneath, there are 5 top stories that you can click on to appear in the big box. To the right, the rest of the day’s top stories are in the next box. Overall, from the logo in the top right corner, the eye follows all the main information in appropriate order. The background (red to white) fits the red and white color scheme for the rest of the page. Once you scroll down the homepage you have several other boxes for columnists and fantasy games and such, basically following good hierarchy.
