examples of webs design

I choose WWD and Net-A-Porter for example of well executed web designs. Both of these websites have huge site maps and need to produce a lot of information quickly, but they make it simple. Net-A-Porter offers tabs like “clothing” and then by dresses pants etc. This makes it easy to navigate. WWD is the go to for fashion news and is always updating their page. But they do it very cleanly and their front page is very well divided by hierarchy. You instantly read the most important stories, because of placement.

Finally I chose Perez Hilton as the poorly designed website. This blog is an example of bad scrolling. You have to scroll forever to find anything, and if you want to search a story there is no way to do that. Also the color choices are hideous. There is too much going on. -Victoria Troxler
