University of Sydney New Identity System

The University of Sydney has recently be re-branded as of the end of last year and the beginning of this year. While there are clear changes that have been made to the logo. The article about this re-branding spoke a lot about the significance of the new identity system and its importance and value to the new “brand”. I found this very interesting because this is a great example of branding in the sense of advertising and marketing going hand in hand with graphic design. THIS IS MORE THEN JUST A NEW LOGO. It’s a statement about what it means to attend the University.
