Recently I’ve been hearing about the Starbucks logo planning on evolving soon. They even have the new look posted on their website, as if to “prepare” coffee addicts for the change. I look at this example, just like the JCP(enny) and Gap logos, and notice now little we really enjoy when our loyal brands change their logos. It almost puts us in shock and has us asking, are they really the same? Some logos like Nike and Pepsi have just over time transformed into more simple designs without words in their logo and they were never questioned (in fact, it just looks really badass that everyone knows their company so they don’t need “Pepsi” or “Nike” to help people).
