NBC Universal has recently decided to follow in Gap and Starbucks footsteps by changing their logo as well. NBC has gotten a negative reaction from this change and has been told that their new logo is now just boring. The CEO decided to change the logo in order to simplify it and make it less busy. In my opinion, I also agree with the general public in that this was a mistake to change their logo. The vibrant, colorful symbol is what NBC is known for and although they will leave it on the corner of their TV stations, it will be a hard adjustment to get used to when I see it it on other things. The new logo left no room for expression and now there is nothing that is separating it from the other logos in the world.
