I think that the ED2010 poster was done really well. I was immediately attracted to the poster the first time I saw it and ended up signing up for ED2010 after reading the information! I think it was a clever idea to turn the image of magazines into a heart so that the poster read, “I love magazine plus 10 equals ED2010”. The layout is clear and organized making it an easy poster to read.


The UCB Touring Company is my example of a poorly done poster. There’s no hierarchy in the poster and it took me a while to figure out what they were trying to sell. The truck image is randomly placed on the side and it doesn’t really serve a purpose. However, they did a good job of using a limited amount of text.
