I like the McDonald’s logo because it is simple yet universally known. It’s simplicity is what helps it to be bold and the yellow and red help it stand out. Had they been different colors, it may not have worked as well. As we learned in class, yellow is an attention getter and red is bold. Both of these colors help to make the logo stand out.
The old Apple logo is too busy and confusing. Instead of sticking to one color or a few colors, they wanted to include the whole rainbow. This makes it look somewhat messy and ugly. Their new clean logo is much more appealing.
