color usage

Despite all of the controversy recently surrounding bp I think there logo has a very good use of color. The green symbolizes nature, and being a natural material while the yellow symbolizes sunshine. The duality not only stands out in the gasoline business because there aren’t any other logos with this color combination, but it also give an organic feel to the company without them having to come outright and say “we care about the environment”

I don’t think Kodak has good use of color because neither red nor orange really portray anything meaningful for their logo. Not only that, but the colors are so close that the name is hardly visible from certain distances and angles.
