Reading Response

The information presented on the posters created by the Yale School of Architecture was similar on each poster but each had its own distinct personality. Each year the school took a rather routine set of information (that semester’s lecture series) and made it into a visually stunning poster that grabs the reader’s attention and forces them to read the content.  The variations of the posters to relatively the same information is almost mind-blowing. Each poster used typographic hierarchy as well to lead the reader’s eye around the page. Each year the hierarchy methods changed but the information stayed the same.  -Matthew Smith
